Continuing my WLS blog series...

I've been writing these blogs partly to help myself stay on track, and partly to share what I know (or think I know?) about weight loss surgery.

This time I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has taken the time to read my blogs, even if you didn't reply. That's totally okay. Thanks for stopping by.

And for those who have supported me during all of this, offering my kind words and encouragement, or just a cute emoticon, I really appreciate it.

Yeah, I'm walking a differently path than many of you, but we all have similar goals, right? Improved health and happiness. Yep, me too.

It helps to know we are not alone in this.

We all have ups and downs, successes and failures, great days and days we'd love to do over. I enjoy sharing those, even though the failures are harder to share. Wait 'til you read about one of my failed recipes. Yikes! Laughter is permitted.

Well, I just wanted to say: Thanks for being there for me.
I hope I can do the same for you.

I think it's great that we all take a different path but are following the same journey...we can learn from each other this way, it would be very boring if we all did things exactly the same way. Your blogs have inspired me to get my @$$ in gear and take this weight loss thing seriously and it's finally working (or I should say, I am finally doing the work to be a success). I should be thanking you for giving me that push!

Looking forward to the 'failed' recipes!

emoticon I think you did what many people are thinking (or fantasizing) about. It's wonderful to get reports from someone who has actually done it.

Glad to be here to share with you. Your blogs are interesting to me.
I will never forget the way you talked about the pros and cons and then let us know you had already had it done. Your use of that tricky little technique will always make me chuckle.
Yes, indeed we are all working towards the same goals, even if our path and battles are different. And, yes, we can support each other during the lows and celebrate during the highs, even with our various differences.
