And that is where I am resting tonight. Problems are in His hands and the peace He offers when we do is present.
Today brought the final decision regarding our homeschool co-op and I will continue to cover them in prayer as they have some rough days coming although they don't know it quite yet. I am resigning as Director next week at our board meeting. I've been praying about this and today I received the final confirmation that it is time to step aside. It seems many of my confirmations come in three's and here they are:
1) Another mom with a special needs boy a little older than Isaac is not able to handle the classes or the social stuff and won't be coming back next year. I've been praying about what to do next year for Isaac.
2) Another mom came up to me a couple weeks ago and said she'd had a dream about Maegann and wondered if I'd ever noticed the gift of "prophet" in her. I have. She said she didn't know the specifics...only that it had to do with co-op.
3) Today Maegann hit her breaking point. I sent her to the van to wait for me and she used the time to cry and pray. During that time she felt a heavy darkness in the van and she screamed at the devil to leave her alone and go away. She said the feeling came at that moment was amazing. (I know some have trouble with spiritual warfare, but not me. It's real.)
So.... I will go visit with our co-director this week so that there is one less emotional person in the room at our board meeting. I will need her help to get through telling them the "why's" but it has to be done. If you think of me.... please pray. I plan to continue through the end of our school year (end of April) and am willing to help transition my tasks to others as needed. Isaac will continue with me. Thankful we don't have co-op next week. Good timing!
Tomorrow I start the day at the Nutritionist's (I doubt it will be very good again.) and then home for a photography lesson with the kids. A guy from church who is amazing with cameras and the history of it all wants to teach them so he'll be here at 9:30. The kids have dentist appointments at 2. Need to stop at the store and buy chicken for our supper (bbq) as I forgot to pick some up last week.
