February Week 2..

Last week went alright..not stellar but alright. This week I want to continue with my pedometer, which comes easily during the work week, tough on the weekends. I also want to really, really pay attention to water and fruits and veggies. Last week I averaged 3 of each so this week I want to hit 4. It's not that I don't like to drink water or that I don't like fruits and veggies, because I do. It's a matter of planning and making my lunch the night before (I have them on hand, it's just quicker in the morning to grab a can of soup!) and setting times in my day to stop and drink some water.

This week I also want to pay closer attention to my portions. I know this is one of my biggest downfalls. If I cut back on meat and carbs, I will eat more veggies to fill up.

Here I go!

    Great goals...I do the same thing with my water that Cat does, and I also end up drinking more! I feel so much better drinking all that water...I love veggies, so that's no problem for me!

    I got in the habit of numbering 4 16 oz bottled water lids....I went from 1 bottle of water a WEEK to 5 16 oz bottles a day! After a few weeks it became a habit and I found I was eating less....water is a secret to success! Maybe my method will work for you? (Also, I might have 2 cups of coffee then the rest of the day is water....once I got into the habit, nothing else tasted good besides water. (And weight was coming off steadily) BONUS :)

    I'm so with you!! Weekends are the challenges for me too! Thank goodness for the X-Weighted weekly challenge this week since the only way to have good participation is just what you blogged about....eating at least 4 fruits/veggies a day! The fact you're posting about it shows you recognize your weakness and are attacking it with a vengeance!

    Awesome way to be proactive!!!
