Can't keep doing the same thing and hope for better results

Kind of the definition of insanity. If I keep eating the way I was before, I'll continue to maintain and not lose the weight I'm trying to lose. I need to remember that the change to eating clean will still allow me to gain weight if I eat too much of even the "right stuff".
Calories in vs. Calories out has to be foremost and the deficit can't be too much otherwise I'll just get stuck. It's a delicate balance, but can be done.
After the hip revision a month ago, I've lost 22 lbs. (15 of which I gained in the previous two months prior to the surgery) in the last 4 weeks. Lot's of fluid loss, and it's starting to slow down now. NOW is the time to regroup, keep on with the rehab and figure out how much I can move without putting myself in any danger of moving backwards in my rehab. The problem is I feel too good and when I do feel this way, I tend to overdo. I need to control the enthusiasm and stay within myself and my program.
