We slept in this morning as it is the only day this week without the need for an alarm. I got the laundry going, did school with the kids, took the second load of dad's things to the thrift store and then did some email until time to leave for the teen event.

Maegann did okay at the event, but once again it is the continual "outsider" and even her supposed best friend is still being a critical one. Sad. Thankfully Kylee was there so she had someone to hang out with.

While she was there for two hours Isaac and I went out for lunch at Chipolte and then went to Bricknology. It's a Lego store and they have many of the hard to find things there. Isaac bought a Sith figure (about 12" tall) and a Friends set for Maegann's birthday.

Finally home about 4 p.m. so I got rice cooked for them to have with their bbq chicken tonight. I'm still full from lunch and need to leave at 5:20 for my class in Boise. It's a 3-hour session on all the insurance, applications, special needs help and more. Figure I know some of it, but a refresher on that and then learning the things I've never needed to know as we aren't in public school will be good for me to know when working with clients.

We are supposed to have a big snow storm tonight so I'm hoping they are right and it doesn't hit until 11 p.m. so I can be home first! Predicting 1-3 inches overnight with high winds. I do have to drive into Boise tomorrow morning (not until about 10:30 though) for the client interview.

Only other things I did today was to take my Medical Power of Attorney over to the funeral home so they wouldn't have to try and reach my brother to take care of the cremation. I guess that event was going to be underway today.

Tomorrow: Hopefully some school with the kids before I leave. Isaac has Destinie and basketball practice in the evening and Maegann and I are going to Kay Jewelers to look at the customer appreciation sale items. I know she would like the ruby ring.

Sorry that Maegann is still having problems with some of the other kids. Glad that it was a nice day otherwise. Enjoy your Thursday!

Glad you got to sleep in and that the day went well for the most part. Sad that Maegann is still having a rough time with the teens. When I think about it though, it wasn't until my DD hit college that she found a group she fit in with perfectly - the science nerds!

I suppose we'll be getting snow again soon too...I have not paid attention to the forecast. I know its just been plain cold and windy though.

    Love your background hearts.

Hugs to Megaan - never fun feeling like an outsider - hopefully sooner rather than later things will work out for her.

It must be hard to go through your father's things to donate with everything else you have going on. Praying for a good week for you.

Teens can be so nice to one another at one time and back stabbers the next moment. Sorry to hear about Maegann going through all that. Sounds like the rest of the day went well.
