The reflection of a fat girl!

Tuesday, February 02, 2016

Today I did something I have not done for a long time, like I mean months. I stepped foot into the gym, it looked the same, nothing has changed, same familiar faces, same mirrors except for some reason I looked fatter in them !
I did 5km took me longer then usual but the great thing is that I finished.
I will continue to brave those huge mirrored walls until I see a healthier me!

The reflection I saw this morning was of a woman who came close to giving up on herself. She had forgotten how good it felt to have a red face and sweat dripping down her chin. The feeling of accomplishment is one no one can take from me.

Bring on the fat stares!
I can take them!
My life will be what I make it and I plan on being on this earth many more great years!
Bring it!

    Amen! You can do this!

I know when I am actually doing something to move forward, I don't care who's watching. It's only when I am letting myself down that I feel all eyes upon me in judgement.

I'd also like to invite you to come and join the Shades of Paleo LIFESTYLE Challenge... all you need to do is show up for yourself each day until Easter! You set your own specific goals, and then work toward them with the support of the group, as we all work toward making Paleo a sustainable lifestyle!

No harm in just taking a peek, right?

Woohoo!!!! Let them know who's boss!

Every minute doing cardio strengthens our heart and increases our lung capacity.

Every minute doing strength training changes our fat to muscle.

Together they reduce our stress and make us happier.
