I don't feel guilty about anything that I eat. I can have whatever I want as long as it is within my calories for the day. I am at 1200 calories for the day. I eat very healthy. If I want pasta I make a serving and use as many vegetables as I can to bulk it up. You have to learn how to eat the things you like and stay on your eating plan that you've chosen. To be successful, this is what we have to learn to do for the rest of our lives, not just to get the weight off, but to keep it off. I know there is no way I'm going without pizza forever, so I found a way to make it lower calorie and I can have it when I want it. Maybe you could at least make your pasta with whole wheat/whole grain to make it as healthy as possible too. Have you looked for Lean Cuisine pasta dishes in your grocery store? They make so many lower calorie and portion controlled foods, that helps me too. You will find a way to have the food you like sometimes and stay on track. You can do this!

about 1 cup cooked pasta, I sub spaghetti squash for spaghetti all the time, it's delicious, and has few enough calories that I can have 2 ounces of garlic bread.
