One smart choice

So today is a day of smart choices. I planned on going out for dinner with the family so I kept my intake lower to accommodate this. It was a steak joint so yeah, I had steak and grilled shrimp. I ordered a side salad and the steamed veggies as my two sides. Yup, two veggies no potato. This is a huge step for me. I ate all the grilled shrimp because those microwaved the next day are icky and less than half the steak. I also realized that I need to reconsider my portion sizes, because I just don't need that much any more. Yay me!
