The second week of focused action is coming to an end.

To focus means that I have my five areas of action as the guidelines for what I do and what I skip. And it means, that I don't waste time with inefficient things and thoughts. This is sometimes hard as I can very clearly see, that there has to happen "something" or it will end in a serious financial disaster. I have to take care that I don't panic.

What helps is to write a daily action plan. It is not necessary to cross off everything from that list, but to have my action plan to which I can return when I feel that panic lurking in the dark.

The past few days I had to finish a project I had promised to participate in. It took way more time, than I had planned. With that one finished, there are no more obligations that distract me.

1.) Job-search
I've sent out several more applications. Next week there will be another job interview, I'm kind of training that job-interview-muscle again. - And write the next applications.

2.) Prepare to move (aka declutter)
Sorting through bits and pieces and today I rearranged my living room, it looks a bit better.

3.) Move, move, move (aka exercise and walk)
A little bit, could have been more.

4.) Eat healthy (water and freggies)
Water/tea: ok
Freggies: ok

5.) Enjoy life
When walking with open eyes, beautiful things can be found.
Yesterday it was raining and cold. While walking I passed a tree and beneath the tree due to the water pouring down a puddle had formed. A bunch of pigeons had gathered around the puddle. And while one was bathing in the water the others stood around the puddle, forming a circle, watching and waiting for their turn to bath. It was a hilarious sight, I had to laugh out loud and had to smile for quite a while.

Good for you for seeing the beauty that surrounds us. It sounds like you are making progress. You sound so much stronger, which I'm sure will come across as confidence in your interviews

I loved the visual of the pigeons taking turns at taking a bath! And yes, when our minds are churning, it's easy to miss the beauty and delights that await. (For me it's the sightings of the wild bunny who lives in the industrial park where I work--small, brown, short-eared, totally cute!)

If you will be doing any behavioral interviewing, I found some helpful resources and lists of possible questions that I used to prepare--I'd be happy to share.

emoticon on keeping your focus and continuing to share.
