Today was a bit rough around the edges with Isaac once again. We have been trying extra Melatonin about midnight and have had some good days. Well...last night we tested the waters and didn't wake him to take this and now we know it is needed. Oh my was it needed!
Got school done (barely), made vegetable beef soup, went grocery shopping and then did some paid work before meeting another co-op mom at a coffee shop to discuss the upcoming Student Council stuff.
While gone it started snowing and was so peaceful to watch as we sipped our warm drinks and talked. Much needed "girl" time. Her son has aspergers so we discussed co-op for our boys, therapies and laughed about their quirks.
Isaac is now at basketball practice and Maegann and I are enjoying "My Girlfriend's Boyfriend". I previewed it on Netflix yesterday since it is PG and it was okay for her to watch.
I spoke with the hospice nurse this afternoon and they have discovered that dad has thrush in his mouth and that could be a lot of the current throat and lack of ability to talk. The cancer is still stealing his ability to breathe very well though so it is definitely just day by day now.
Tomorrow.... Isaac will be off with Meg in the morning and Maegann and I are heading to Subway for breakfast. I think she needs to go be the pet store too for some more mini corn ears for the hamster. I need to finish up some of the paid work as I didn't quite get it done. My new client is actually three clients.
