To many calories

Sparks calorie counter gives me 2017-2367 calories to eat.This sure does seem like alot. Should i eat less?

    Since it's based on your weight it's probably right, but I know I need to stay at the bottom of my range to lose weight. Also, it's a good idea to get vary your calorie intake from day to day. Top of your range some days, bottom of your range other days. I try to keep the fat at the bottom of the allowance, proteins toward the middle, carbs at the bottom.

    Are you losing weight at that calorie range? If so, your good to go. emoticon emoticon emoticon

    I believe that would be maximum ... that has a lot to do with your present weight and how active you are ... just remember that if you are not losing then you need to check your weekly totals to see why not ... I was too high on sodium and cut way down...to lose a pound we have to cut out 3500 calories ... 500 a day should get a pound for you each week. good luck...roc

    Its a good starting point. You don't have to eat that much. You'd be surprised at how fast the food calories add up. The biggest issue with people falling off is to little calories.

    I met with a registered dietician to get all the numbers tweaked just for me. Ask around in your circle of friends. You might be able to find one to talk to you for free.
