i appreciate this for so many reasons. mostly because it encourages me to think about a bigger picture...a more important thing.....than the numbers on the scale. i know that if i want to make my life better, i have to change everything about how i do food. restricting calories to drop pounds may work for a while, but if i don't change my relationship with myself, and with food, i will NEVER experience true success. i especially loved the part about focusing on expansion rather than shrinking. it's a great perspective.
