Bad habits die hard...

Alright, so I have a lot of bad food/exercise related habits-that's why I'm on Sparkpeople, to unlearn them.
For example, yesterday I ate a WHOLE bag of Beanitos as a "snack" emoticon Why do I do this? I'm not really sure. I think because I have a whole lot of demands on that are creeping up on me (but then, everyone does). Or maybe it was because I was in front of the TV? emoticon I have knitting I could have worked on, but didn't. Or was it the beer I drank? emoticon But I specifically remember my dark side slowing my drinking so I could make the beer last through the chips (I told you I had problems). I know of better solutions, like walking or knitting, saving the beer for weekends or with a meal. I know this but yet I don't do it. However, today is a new day to improve. And I will.
(As for the silver lining of this story, I did go over my caloric intake by about 400 but my fiber for the day ended up around 63g!) emoticon

    You are only human, as we all are, and do those things we all do at times. Glad to see you're not beating yourself up about it, and even managed to find some good in it. But for this to work we have to do more than look at what we are doing wrong. You know, and I know, what that is. Time to get at it and DO something about it. emoticon Take small steps, if need be. Try and not bring those foods that are impossible to resist into the house. If others insist on them being there try to buy smaller portions. Let's make this our year!!
