Sharing a good thing!!
It's so important to work on all of our gifts that come with this magnificent thing called our body!!
This week I returned to school for my certification as a CNA (Certified Nurses Assisistant/ Long Term Care)
I've been blessed and feel it's time now to pay it forward and help others whose paths weren't as blessed as mine and now they're in Nursing Homes.
I learned that many feel ignored or somewhat neglected for many reasons and I feel they shouldn't be.
Also, it's another "workout" for me or I should say my "thinking part" of the body.
We sometimes tend to forget that part and that it too can become "out of shape".
"Use it Or Lose it" is a title a friend of mine uses quite often in her local town paper where she post a column 2x weekly. It's advise she share with us all as a retired R.N. who served in World War 11!
One day she shared that she had also received her pilots license a few years back and it was time to re-new. She stated "my flying days are over" I just go for the test to "workout" my brain.
She suggested we all need to "think" beyond the bar!
So I did and am now studying for my first quiz.
Just a little reminder to all of my Spark friends to "Use It or Lose it"
