Smoothies

I made my first green smoothie and it was delicious. It contained kale, peanut butter, one banana, pineapples, Greek yogurt, coconut milk, and 2 teaspoons of honey. I was so excited that I made this healthy breakfast drink at home. And it was delicious. I couldn't taste the kale. But as I added the calories I became discouraged. My healthy smoothie was over 500 calories. But I dont won't need a snack befor lunch. I haven't felt hungry and I have so much more energy. So this smoothie will be made again. But I will adjust my other meals.

    Aredick. I need to find PB2. And I put a scoop of protein powder in all my snoothies. I thought about reducing the pb to 1 tbsp. Thanks.

    Congrats on your first green smoothie. This is just a suggestion to lower the calories. Try almond milk instead of coconut milk. Unsweetened almond milk is 35 calories for 8 oz. And dates instead of honey. Just two are 60 calories and sweet.

    If u can get switching out the pb for pb2 which is powdered peanut butter and use water instead of milk since you already have the yogurt This will help lower your calories down if u can throw a protein powder in there as well a casein protein
