I know it's a little late, but I've been a busy blogging bee! Seriously, I think this is my 12th blog so far this month.
I've also decided to try a new format that I've adapted from something I found on Pinterest.
Behaviors I Will Encourage:
A regular sleep schedule and making the bed in the morning
Behaviors I Will Diminish:
Lazy, couch potato tendencies when I have too much spare time
Places I Want to Go:
Seattle, Washington over MLK weekend! (see below)
Getting outside and enjoying nature on my walks.
Friends and Family:
Attend and enjoy my weekend in Seattle for my brother's wedding. Take lots of pictures and remember the experience!
You guys count as friends! Write 10 blogs this month.
Health and Wellbeing:
Meet my goal of 1450 calories a day with 75% accuracy. So far this month I have been killing it!
Resume strength training. Aim for 2 hour-long sessions a week.
I have restarted Runner's World's "Start Walking Plan," which is a 7-week program of 4 walks a week that starts at 15 minutes and builds up to 60 minute walks. Its job is to prepare you for the next phase, which is walk/jogging intervals. I am on week 2 now, winter be darned!
Earn 2,000 fitness minutes
Take measurements this month
Lose 3 pounds: Go from 162 to 159.
Update my professional portfolio
Create a new syllabus and discipline plan that reflects me as a teacher now. The previous model is not a good fit for me.
Start my long-term subbing position later this month, and go all in!
Maintain my clean bathroom.
Track every purchase. I made a chart (date; items purchased; amount; how I felt about it). It has been very motivating to not make impulse purchases!
Keep a monthly budget and track the net flow of money. I have been doing this one faithfully for a few years now.
Read the Bible 10 minutes daily.
I noticed this list is very similar to my yearly resolutions list (coming soon)! What are your goals for the year?
