Went out for a run (with some walking)

I haven't done much running at all since I did the Half Marathon months and months ago. Life got hectic, the holiday season hit and for my business, that's when it gets crazy. So I haven't done much in the way of running, or even serious exercise, in a long time.
I decided that today was as good as any to get back into a routine. I figure that any time between 9:00 and 10:00 am is good for me and my schedule, so I headed out at 9:20 for a run. I gave myself permission to walk as needed, since it has been a long time since my last run. I got in over 2 miles of continuous jogging, so that's a good start.
I would like to make Mon - Wed - Fri my cardio days, with running on Mon and Fri and swimming on Wed. Weights will be Tues - Thurs - either Sat or Sun, depending on my kids' competition schedules. By mixing it up, I hope to keep my body engaged and benefitting from the exercise.
