I am 5'9" tall.
According to Spark my BMR is 1880 calories per day. (with my settings set to a sedentary lifestyle)
Spark has my baseline calorie intake (with a sedentary lifestyle, assuming no activity) set to 1200-1500 calories a day in order to lose weight.
This past week I have eaten between 1450-1550 calories every day with the exception of one day where I ate 1780 calories (the day I went to a pilates class, and intense Zumba class, and took a 30 minute brisk power walk)
Daily I burned a minimum of 550 calories on top of my BMR going up to 1268 calories above on that high exercise day.
So. To recap:
Even with no exercise, if I were sedentary all day, I created a calorie deficit of between 350-450 calories.. With one day only a 100 calories deficit....
I was NOT sedentary all day.
I either took a walk, went to Zumba, or did Pilates every day. On my low exercise days I simply took a walk for a half hour in addition to my daily activities.
I have been diligent.
I use a scale to measure my food.
I log everything. This week I logged every single day - From last Friday through this morning.
Sounds fantastic, right?
So can someone please explain to me why I have GAINED 2 POUNDS THIS WEEK??????
