Ready to test.

My martial arts instructor said today that I was ready to test for my next belt level later this month!
I am now a white belt so it's the first time testing. I'm a bit nervous and excited at the same time. I know the material my issue is test anxiety. As soon as I know my instructor is watching my brain freezes and I forget what I'm doing!!!! He tells me I just need to focus on what I am doing and not on what anyone, including him, is doing. I have 2 weeks to figure it out and get over it.

I've lost weight!!! Something I haven't been able to do working out at the gym!!
Martial arts keeps me motivated to practice....workout...at home because I want to remember what I have learn...and in the process of practicing, I get a work out.

If anyone has ever told you that marital arts isn't a real workout...they've never actually trained in martial arts!

My bf bought me on of those towers to practice kicks and punches on which makes for a better work out and more practice.

If I don't pass to the next level this month, then I just wasn't ready and I will work harder.
However, I will pass because I will work hard for it in the next few weeks I have and I will learn to focus on what I AM doing and not on the fact that the judge is watching me.
