No Resolutions

I know I've said before that I don't make resolutions.

Is it that I don't want to set myself up to fail?
I've heard that most people break theirs within the first two weeks of January.

Well, I am determined to lose weight and work on my overall health. And I think I'm well on my way to that goal.

I'd also like to spend more time writing. I don't have a concrete plan for making that happen, but I'm working on it.

Another goal that becomes obvious after the chaos over the holidays is the desperate need to declutter and simplify. I've got boxes and bags and wrapping strewn from one end of the house to the other. Not to mention baking supplies and equipment. And boxes for holiday decorations. Also there's the luggage I'm still unpacking. Yikes again!

Hmm... It sounds like resolutions, huh? But it's really not. It's the same goals I have every day. They just bear repeating, especially at the New Year.

I don't know about you, but I think 2016 is going to be a great year!

I did write out 'goals for 2016' but they are the same things I've been working on in the past year.
I so hope you're right about the new year being a great one!

Sorted out my gift bags while I was finishing up the last of the Christmas wrapping and was amazed at how many bags I have accumulated over the years. Can't throw those suckers out for some reason. So I told DD that next year every gift that is leaving the house goes in a bag. They will become someone else's problem!

No resolutions are not a good idea but I am working on goals too!

    Mine include
    Sorting paperwork as it arrives
To prevent clutter building up, to try to tidy away at end of each day and be ruthless if necessary (throw away).
To keep up to date with finances and filing
Try to eat sensibly following the SW eating plan.
To exercise at least 3 times a week, pilates, walking and zumba
