If you tend to track what you ate AFTER you ate it, try this: Track some treats ahead of time. Even if you just count an apple in with your breakfast, but you didn't eat it, you'll have a suprise later in the day when you think, "What can I eat now?" You can eat an apple because you already tracked it!
I realized the fun of this the other morning when I tracked a whole banana but only put half of it in my cereal. Eating the other half later in the day felt like a pleasant bonus! Of course, you can also do this with something more exciting than fruit.
So go ahead and track ahead!
