prayers please

Tuesday, December 29, 2015

It has been a difficult season. My baby sister died in October, a special friend is preoccupied, my daughters both have upset lives right now, everyone at work got big pay cuts, and I miss my husband who passed away three years ago. I also miss friends who aren't friends anymore. It is true that if a wife dies the husband has the "covered dish brigade" knocking at the door and if a husband dies the wife finds out who her real friends are.
Please, anyone who reads this and prays, add me and a relationship to your prayer list .

Lord, please wrap your loving arms around our friend. We know you are merciful to the brokenhearted and give grace to the weary.

God, give us grace to accept with serenity the things that cannot be changed, courage to change the things which should be changed, and the wisdom to distinguish the one from the other. Living one day at a time, Enjoying one moment at a time, Accept

Dear Lord, I ask that You would comfort your daughter, minister peace and joy to her, bring laughter and friendship back into her life, and fulfill her with a rich and intimate relationship with Your precious Holy Spirit. In Jesus' mighty name, amen.
