Not Slowing Down.

Monday, December 21, 2015

Things are just getting more hectic here; with the holidays, the playground, people being sick, you name it...

Yesterday I had my great-niece's baptism, then went shopping with our Daughter because she'd not had a chance to do it with being so sick. We left after the church baptism (11:30) and I didn't get home until around 6. Lots of walking, that's for sure, and 10 or so stores. Least she got it all done, her hubby would have helped had he still not been home sick with pneumonia.

Last week I had conference calls, meetings, doctor's appointments, you name it, I had it going on.

This week I have the drawing for the quilt this afternoon, a dr's appointment tomorrow, interview with the radio station on Wednesday, christmas at my Mom's and church on Thursday, Christmas here on Friday. Where is that Calgon???

Oh and in between times I'm trying to get our board members to respond to the schematic which was sent to us by the Architects...of course no response at all. ARRRGGGHHHHH.

We have high hopes for the 2 donors, but one of them, the stipulation was it had to be started by March, 2016....YIKES.

I hope you all have a beautiful Christmas, and remember what the true meaning of it is. Love, hope, and promise. Let's hope 2016 is better, for everyone.

Oh and here's more pics for you, this is our Daughter and SIL's christmas card picture:

I also made a "spoof" of the Star Wars, mainly because my FB was flooded with pictures of people going there, buying their tickets early, etc. (I like star wars, but man, that was ridiculous. I'm waiting until it comes out on DVD or will go much later after the crowds have died down. I guess I just don't get the "rush" of buying tickets early, etc. If you see it, it doesn't matter when, not in my opinion. Anyway, enjoy my weird sense of humor. *L*

I added at the end, that I wouldn't reveal the end of the movie to anyone. (Couldn't anyways, haven't seen it *L*)

Oh, and our Sweet Daughter posted this on her FB, I nearly cried:

Have a beautiful Christmas, everyone, and a very happy New Year.

What your daughter posted almost made me cry as well! How sweet of her!

I hope everyone is your family starts healing quickly and is on the mend for the holidays!

I too went shopping today and walked a lot. I didn't need anything but since my mom needed to go, I took her and while she was shopping, I walked up and down the aisles!

    Have a great Tuesday!

So sorry to hear DD’s hubby has pneumonia. **SIGH** Not good @ any time of the year, but esp. now.

Hope that the project gets started by Marcy 2016 so you get the donor’s contribution. Now those slow board members better step up to the plate. GRRRRrr.

Awwww, love Gator and Nora. Look so peaceful.

Definitely can wait til the Star Wars movie comes out on DVD. Love your spoof.

OMG! That is such a sweet thing for your DD to post! HUGS to her.

You have a happy, healthy Christmas and New Year.
