3 Day Plant Base Cleanse

I had a great Thanksgiving. I had multiple dinners family and drinking occasions with friends, but it left me felling disgusting. I was bloated, sluggish, foggy, unmotivated and because I indulged in so many carbs and sugar that's all I was craving. I decided to give the 3 Day Refresh a try, and I was blown away by the results.
The Refresh is a plant based cleanse that lasts well...3 days. It involves Shakeology, a separate protein shake, a fiber drink and yes you do actually get to chew real food too. ;) The meal plan looks a little something like this. Shakeology and fruit in the morning. The Fiber Sweep drink mid morning. Lunch is a protein shake, fruit, vegetables and a healthy fat such as avocado or hummus. Afternoon snack is veggies and a healthy fat. Dinner is another protein shake and veggie based dish. For example I made a stir-fry. The program offered a few recipes to choose from along with lists of veggies, fruits and healthy fats that would be best during the cleanse. Oh and drink an insane amount of water. It was very easy to follow, and I was never tempted to cheat during the 3 days. It was just the right amount of time to stay true to the program without feeling deprived.
And the results....I lost 4lbs, and I feel amazing. Like a dark cloud has been lifted from my shoulders amazing. I feel light and lean. I don't have to suck in my gut in fear that some of it is hanging out over my jeans. I feel energetic and I have clarity. You would think that after 3 days of such strict eating the first thing I would want to do is reward myself with something I had been craving right? Wrong!! I had no cravings. I had no desire to consume something that I knew would make me feel bad again. I had so much momentum to keep the ball rolling and continue on with healthy habits.
I highly recommend this, especially if you're stuck in a plateau, indulged too much over a weekend and you need to get back on track, or just looking for a place to start. It's a great way to build momentum. I will probably do it again in January. If you want to join me let me know.
