back in the groove

Between a little slacking through Thanksgiving and a 2 day road trip, I missed a few days of exercise. I didn't just miss it, I actually MISSED it. I couldn't wait to get back to my biking, weights and walks with the dog. Heh, who woulda thunk it?
In spite of the slacking, I weighed in at a pound less last Weds.. I know I would have lost more without the slacking but I chose what I chose and I'm OK with that.
I changed my settings so my fitness tracker effects my nutrition tracker. I'm not sure that I like it this way. When I ride my bike (most days), my calorie range seems higher than it should be--around 2200-2500, rather than 1200-1500 range without. I'm finding myself eating around the max, which is way more than I ate even on higher cal days before the change. I don't think I'm burning as many calories on the bike as the tracker thinks I am. I also think I'm starting to put too much attention into these numbers. I'll give it a few more days then probably switch back
In other news, I had to buy some new pants. The new pants I bought a couple months ago are already too big. The next size down is still a bit closer fitting than I'd like but should be perfect by the time I totally have to give up on the larger one. Last time, I found a pair of yoga pants that I lovelovelove. They're great for impromptu exercise around the house. Unfortunately, those were a little loose when I bought them. I searched for a pair in the next smaller size, found them and reached for 2 sizes down instead. Why not? They have drawstrings. I can keep wearing the pair I have until the new pair fits, right? I decided to try on new pants when I got home and then change into yoga pants for the night. But my yoga pants weren't too big when I put them on. Huh? Stickers and tags. It was the new pair and they fit!
As a reward for losing 10% of my starting weight, I bought myself some pretty bands for my FitBit.
