So here we are again...

I've tried to lose weight for a long time. It's been a real struggle because I just don't have as much self-motivation as some people. My goal right now is to drop thirty pounds by January/February of 2017. It's my 27th birthday gift to myself. I feel that being healthy is important to raise spirits and it's good for the soul.

    I have spent YEARS trying to lose weight and just did not have the motivation to do so. I am turning 65 this month, have started having some minor physical issues and have decided that this time I must do it if I want to enjoy the next few years. To date, I have lost 40 pounds. I KNOW you can do it. Keeping track with your nutrition will motivate you to stay within your limits and before you know it, you'll have more motivation than you know what to do with! emoticon
