Involuntary Hiatus...

Hello again, everyone! Long time; no type...lol

I was very sick for awhile and wound up in the hospital for nearly 2 weeks. I had a simple respitory infection, which became a series of infections in my sinuses, ears and lungs - crazy! Then, while I was IN the hospital, I caught Merca! Anyways, needless to say, I was off plan for a while, I am better now. :)

On the heals of my recovery, my mother (who has serious health issues) went into the hospital with a severe kidney infection which wreaked havoc with her diabetes! She, also is better now and came back home yesterday, just in time for my birthday! (also yesterday).

I have found that my stomach has shrunk enough for me to step away from the NutriSystem and attempt to continue the healthy eating in smaller portions on my own. So, fingers crossed that this works so that I can save some money! While I absolutely LOVE NS, it is very expensive if you're on a tight budget.

Well, at this point, that's all the news that's fit to print. So glad to be back on Spark! Tomorrow, I will begin logging everything again. :)
