Day 2 166 days to Vegas

A little background on everything. For the last few months I have been working my medical team going through the process of gastric bypass surgery. Because of my insurance it is required for me to do a 6 month medically supervised weight loss program, which starts with the perception weight loss medication and monthly visits with the dr and dietician. Which has been working. I have lost a few pounds so far, and it’s been 3 months since I’ve started. The reason for the sudden urge and need to get it going and together is because of Vegas. Time to look good while I’m partying with my husband! So I have a calorie goal of 1,000-1,200 daily trying to limit the carb intake, which counting carbs ultimately leads to lower calories anyway. So to start will the follow up from yesterday:
I stayed inside the lower part of my calorie goal at 1002, but way high in the carbs so I need to work on that starting today.
As for the exercise:
I completed the Day 1 butt and arms challenges, squats, lunges, and bridges, triceps dips, pushups and mountain climbers. I also jumped on the treadmill last night however, I only did 20 minutes but at 3.75 mphs, and stretched it out while the girls were in the bath.
So for the goals yesterday they were all met! I need to revise the treadmill after I put Isabelle down for bed because that is when Justin is home for dinner, and because then taking a shower and getting Serenity to sleep makes me going to be way later than I would like to. I think tonight I will put Isabelle in her little walker thing and block the back of the treadmill so she can’t get to bottom of the treadmill and get hurt.
So goals for today: Doing Day 2 of the arms and butt. I have written the calendar out with the daily goals, all the way through April. This week I have the arm workouts in the morning, and the butt workouts at night when I get home, and it’s funny with Serenity she is always right there to do it with me, which as awesome as that is, she does take up space and tends to be all over me all the time, so it was pretty interesting last night. But again today arms and butt, and then treadmill of course I just need to figure out a time that works best with the kids shower and sleep lol.
I know I’ve been scattered brained with this post so I’ll sum it up again: Yesterday calorie and fitness goals were met. Did the day 1 butt, and arms done, stretching and the treadmill. Today’s goals: Day 2 arms and butt, stretching, meeting the calorie goals with lower carbs today and treadmill.
