First Gym type class at the Y

They started a new small group class at the Y called Fit Together. It is for people who are just starting an exercise program and need to learn how to put a routine together.
This was the first week of the class, so we did 10 minutes of 'light' cardio: jogging in place, jumping our feet back and forth from front to back, intervals of slow lunges, and knee-high jogging. Then he spent 10 minutes or so showing us slowly other things that we'd be incorporating into the cardio intervals later on at a quicker pace. Then 15 minutes of Pilates and 10 minutes of stretching.
Having done all that, I can say that my leg and hip flexibility is better than the other people in the class, but my balance and upper arm strength/flexibility and my stamina is probably worse.
My abs have only one thing to say. OUCH!
