Squeeze in a run for more energy?

I had (have) 19 million things to do today. I knew I would be cutting it close by trying to push a run in after I finished and before dark. The minutes ticked on, the sun was sinking fast, and I still was not close to being done. I dropped everything I had and changed my clothes. Then I ran. And I thought that I was going to have to quit. Today was Week 2 Day 1 of my own interval training to get back into running. I pushed and pushed and heard the finishing bell. And now, I feel like I could run the world!
Now, a mountain of things to do, and an early morning. But, I ran and I don't have to beat myself up about not fitting it in.
AND to top it off... I ran both my fastest average pace, and my fastest mile since I started running again. Boom!
