Thankful In November

This morning I went swimming. It is still very hot in Florida. Our temps over the past few days have been in the 90s. Swimming is a great way to get a nice cooldown. As I was swimming, I was aware of mourning doves on the fence, which surrounds the pool. I hear birds everyday. But nothing is as soothing as the sound of a coo from a dove. I wish I had my camera and could have taken pictures. A nice video would remind me often of the sweet sound that I heard. I really know that I am blessed to have time to enjoy the outdoors.
This month, I am trying to think of the many ways that i am blessed. After all, in the USA, this is the month of Thanksgiving. I am very thankful that when I was measured at the gym, within the past couple of weeks, I had lost inches of my abs, waist and thighs. My weight loss is often minimal but the inches come off due to the exercise minutes I put in everyday. Keeping them off, is something I also have to seriously work on daily.
I am gearing up to work on more challenges this week with my teams. They always keep me motivated.
