Day 93 - My 20-Year Plan

Create a blueprint for how you'll live for the next 20 years.

Seven things I can do forever:
1. Watch my total carbs and try to keep it close to 100 grams per day (doctor's recommendation)
2. When eating out, choose smaller portions, or take half home
3. Eat salads
4. Limit potatoes of all kinds
5. Limit chocolate
6. Limit fried foods
7. When eating out, choose healthier options

Three favorite foods and my plan for managing them:
1. Dark Chocolate - had bite sized pieces available to have one on occasion
2. Nuts - Include nuts as a part of a meal and not a snack
3. Key Lime Pie - a special treat and have only on occasion, and share with my husband

My exercise plan and how I will make it work:
1. Get in at least two walks each day outside, if the weather cooperates
2. get in time on the treadmill and the recumbent bike each day
3. Keep up my exercises to strengthen my knees daily
4. Get in general strength training exercises three times each week

Barriers and life issues, my plan for handling them
At this time, I do not have any issues, but I will have to watch this

Immediate "crisis plan" if I start gaining weight
If I gain more than 3 pounds, start watching more carefully what I am eating.
