Thank you all, I love the wraps, in fact I've never had some that glow so much. I went to bed after putting them on, and wow..they really were lit up.
The sore on top of my foot has been keeping me awake because it hurts so much around it. (not on it, that doesn't even hurt). It's been there since July and I still don't remember what I did, because I have a sore on my shin on the same leg, and I know what I did was at the same time. That one doesn't hurt, though. The one on my foot sometimes keeps me awake it hurts so bad. (or takes my breath away, seriously.) My Endocrinologist said "it's healing well", I have an appointment with the food dr on Wed, so going to ask him to check it.
Had my second pneumonia shot and my arm/shoulder was sore until yesterday, today it's got a huge bruise.and still hurts when you touch it. My last one didn't, but dang..this one started hurting Thursday (day after I got it.) Fun Fun Fun.
We had the party Saturday, I was a bit disappointed that none of my own family came, well, Mom, siblings, their kids, etc. The only ones from my family who were there were my Husband, Son, Daughter, and brother-in-law (husband's brother). That's it. Why? because my niece had a volleyball game, and even though my Mom has been to every one of them, she had to go to this one. same with the rest of them. So frustrating, and this is the niece who pulled the bs on me after her sisters's wedding.
I was kind of saddened because our Daughter had played Volleyball and even got the award for Volleyball, and she asked me Saturday, why Grandma never came to many of her games.
What frustrates me is the fact that my Mom, a while back, told me that she does more for my brother's kids because he's been divorced twice and "they need more support", and my Sister's kids (and my sister) because "she's got a child with special needs". "You've got a good husband and marriage, so you don't need the support, your kids have it already". (Yes that's what she said.)
I never realized how much it hurt our Kids until our daughter said that on Saturday. I wanted to cry for our daughter, and scream at my mom at the same time. It really hurt our Daughter that none of them showed up. Yes, this was a sectional or regional game, but there are going to be more, and they could have missed just one (not my brother, but he could have came after the game.) I hope that doesn't sound selfish, but it would have really made our daughter feel good.
Can't change family.
Anyway, onto the party and fun times: It went really great, we had a lot of friends there, and that's all that matters. I went over very early and decorated with our Daughter, cooked, made lots of food.
We had "scabs and pus" (frosted flakes, raisins, marshmallows); dirt balls (crushed oreos and cream cheese); arm pit hair (shredded wheat, chocolate chips, honey); monster fingers (peanut butter, jelly in a rolled up piece of bread); Witches punch (sugar free punch, delicious); pumpkin cheese ball, chili (3 types, elk, mild, spicy). Think that hits it all, oh and veggies (celery with raisins on it, eyeballs: carrots with a dot of cream cheese to hold an olive).
The decorations were so cool, esp the "ghost on the wall" and "shadows through the window". It's an animated program that plays via a computer attached to a projector, and shows different "scenes". The ghosts one has ghosts appearing and vanishing, it's wonderful. and the shadows one has scenes like hangings, stabbings, vampire, skeleton attack, all seen through a window. People loved it.
