Day 85 - Let It Go

When you're upset or going through a difficult situation, decide how long you want to hold on to your emotions. Pick a time limit, then at the end of that time, mentally send the negative emotions out of your body, then watch them drift away.

This has been something that I have done all the time. I don't let past things that happen impact what is going on currently. Thinking about past events does not help with what is going on.

    I like the idea of consciously staying with the feelings for a set amount of time - then letting go - not always so easy, but interesting to look at why we choose to hold on to those bad feelings!

    OMG your right! I got emotionally blasted by my DD last night. Earlier by hubs! of course both were sauced up. It's hard to forgive. What choice do I have? Let it go or suffer? It's not like I can erase them. But oh so temptingšŸ˜…
