Mayday, mayday! Need some blog help, please!

Sunday, October 25, 2015

I'm not sure if the blog eating monster just loves my blogs but I keep having it disappear. I tried writing it in word and cutting and pasting into the window (which worked one time only) but now it gives me some kind of request asking me to not use html (yeah, if I knew what that was I probably wouldn't be using it in the first place!). I have put my blog in 3 times today now and it keeps going into blog never-neverland. Granted, I did speak about the blog eating entity in a not so positive light in today's blog, but come on! I am super frustrated and would appreciate any guidance someone could give.

thanks!

Are things working better for you now? Sometimes that "no html" message comes up just because a symbol sneaks into your writing. If an emoticon is incomplete, it could come up too.

Hope you've had a good week, Firecracker!

I write my blogs on Word. Cut and paste in the blog box. No problem.

I've also written my blog in the blog window, then right-clicked with my mouse and copied it so if it disappeared when I hit "post" I had a copy I could paste back in. Good luck - I KNOW it's frustrating!

Try writing your blog using NotePad instead of Word and see if that helps. Or, within Word switch it to "Plain text". It should be a the top of the screen with all the font sizes, and other stuff. Hope that helps :)
