Trying something new to encourage actions

I made myself an Excel sheet checklist (impressive because I'm not an Excel person!) with sections for different healthy actions I could do each day and assigned them points depending on how hard they are for me to get myself to do...
I'm trying get it so those small things become more automatic and "normal" to me and can add up to a healthier and active lifestyle that is more built in to my life. Right now I get off track it seems the second I'm not actively paying attention to what I'm doing and go right back to my automatic habits which are all pretty unhealthy or at least not ideal.
The idea is to try to get the most points each day that I can fit in and beat myself each day with more points...it's also a good way to encourage actual actions vs. thinking about actions and I assigned big points to the things the hardest for me...so on busy days if I can do one really hard thing I could still end up with as many points as doing all the little things.
So it's my little experiment to see if it helps me!
