So I think I'm finally getting the hang of this

It's been about 2 months since I started back on Spark People, started exercising again, and started eating healthy. I have been on Spark People sporadically for the last 3 years. Man, has it been a rocky 2 months! I fell off the wagon over and over again, but I kept getting up and trying again the next day. I focused on exercise for the first month, working out 2 times per week. I did a little bit of cardio (20 minutes), and a little bit of strength training (15 minutes). Then, I started tracking my food again about a month ago. Boy, was that a wake-up call! I was still gaining weight! So I took my food choices in hand and started to really focus on eating healthy, not eating out all the time, and making good choices. It hasn't been easy. There was the pizza... Oh the pizza! But I feel more confident about making healthier choices to eat when I am out now. I will be facing that on Sunday as I will be at a potluck. My goal is to pick some solid protein and plenty of veggies. I have also stepped up my exercising. I am now exercising 3 days per week (60 minutes of cardio or 30 minutes cardio/30 minutes strength training). I am going for 4 days this week as I have planned an hour long walk for this afternoon. I am going to keep getting up even when I fall over and over again.

    The important thing is that you keep getting back up! That's a good thing. And, tracking what you eat really helps. I like your plan for that potluck on Sunday. Good luck!
