Last Saturday, I was looking through my Kindle and decided to re-read some of my books. But instead, I accidently pressed the "music" button and up popped a message that asked if I would like to merge music files from another account?
I put a check into the box and up pops music that only Wayne could have put there.
You see, Wayne gave me this Kindle the Christmas of 2012, when I was in 'transition care'. Since I was in a nursing home, I requested that he take the Kindle home, so it wouldn't "grow legs and disappear".
After I came to Assisted Living, January 2013, Wayne brought me my Kindle. Then he died in April 2013.
Many songs were poignant and a few made the tears flow quite easily.
Van Halen: Jump
Aerosmith: Dream On
Brothers In Arms: Money For Nothing
Bruno Mars: Just The Way You Are
Journey: Only the Young
Don't Stop Believing
Wheel In the Sky
I'll Be Alright Without You
Any Way You Want It
Ask The Lonely
Who's Crying Now
Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin'
Girl Can't Help It
Send Her My Love
Be Good To Yourself
When You Love A Woman
Billy Joel: Piano Man
Wayne....perhaps you thought I would find these songs when I most needed to feel you next to me.
But never did I imagine, finding this gift when you were in heaven and not by my side.
I love you and miss you daily, Babe!!!
