On Wednesday I wanted to do barbell squats but the racks were taken, so I opted for leg press and rowing machine.
I have strong legs. I bike every day to work. I have split pants with my thighs. I went way too heavy (180) on the machines, nearly my own weight.
Now I am tottering around like a septugenarian penguin. I thought I had actually broken something when my pee was red this morning but then I remembered: Beet Juice. (Beets should come with "remember: you had beets" stickers to put in your bathroom).
I forgot how baller it feels to be crippled by DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness). I feel like a meathead. It makes me want to wear a pretty dress. I am honestly considering bringing my foam roller to work to help me get through the day--stairs, man. Stairs are the worst.
