Day 1

Thursday, October 15, 2015

This past five months have been a whirlwind!!! My husband came home one day with very bad pain and has not worked since. It has taken up until the past few weeks for us to figure out what was going on with him. He has Gout! Since finding out we have changed his diet, changed doctors, and now he is on Gout Medication. Hoping it will kick in very soon.

I am currently looking for work and praying that soon I will get hired somewhere. I am looking for a job with good hours due to my children being in school now. I no longer homeschool my children=( Yes as you can tell there has been a lot of change in my household.

I have gained ALL of my weight back but am making an attempt to start eating healthy again. Stress eating is a horrible thing and I am so guilty of this. I have taken my weight chart off of my Sparkpage. I am making an effort to be healthy not look like a supermodel.

Good luck to both of you!

Don't feel guilty about stress eating or gaining back your weight. Guilt is not productive. It eats at you. Feel regret, but not guilt. Reserve your guilt for things that really deserve it. Stress eating doesn't.

(I know, it's just semantics. But I happen to feel that the words we use, to ourselves and others, are very important. They can have a negative or positive effect on ourselves and on others. End of sermon.)
