Not Much To Say

Sunday, October 11, 2015

I've been meaning to write a blog for over a month now, but truth is, I don't have a lot to say. Or maybe I do, but only in response to what others are saying. So I've been writing responses on other people's blogs instead of writing my own. And posting things on my I Matter team, but some of my Sparkfriends aren't on that team so I feel like I'm losing touch. So maybe it's time to do a blog.

Except, what do I say?

How about my recent thing about sleep...

I've got to say that sleep is possibly the most critical component to my success in all things.

Yep, it's a big claim to make, but I'm learning more and more that it's essential to my being able to get things done in all aspects of my life.

Exercise, homeschooling, dealing with my son's unique issues, cooking healthy meals, planning things. Every single one of these things is so much easier, so much more likely, when I've gotten decent sleep.

So I've gotta wonder...if I were able to sleep every single night, would I be fitter? Would my house be more organized? Would everything feel better? Would I feel better? I'm guessing yes.

Maybe my push should be more about getting sleep than about all the rest of it!

Sleep is how our bodies heal, and rejuvenate. Sounds like you are in a busy season of life. Go with it sister. ride the wave. The calm will come. Meanwhile, get some sleep. emoticon

Sleep, lovely sleep. So important to our lives. Also sometimes so elusive!

I think most of us (at least most Americans) are unable to get as much sleep as their body truly needs, for a host of reasons!

Yep, you would definitely feel better!

.I enjoy hearing from you no matter what the topic is or how long your blog or post is. I always learn something or take away something to ponder in my own life. Today's blog was no exception. I believe getting a good night's sleep can be just as important to our well-being as good nutrition and exercise. Now may be a good time for both of us to test that out for ourselves.

    Thanks for the thought-provoking blog.

For someone who said that they didn't really have anything to say, I think what you said is powerful. Sleep or shall I say getting adequate sleep is equally important as healthy eating and exercising.

    emoticon blog!
