Sunday Morning Salutations!!!!!!! Another cool old here this morning only 38 again. Yesterday I spent the afternoon moving that 2000 piece puzzle that I have been working on to a huge corrugated plastic sign I got at Casey's, they have them for ads. on the front of the store. Got it propted up between two chairs and another bar table under it. Going to work great. Now I have my table to put my house plants on when I move in doors. But first have to get the plastic on that darn patio door, that will have to wait for a rainy day when hubby can help me, its hard to hold a slat of wood and a nail and hammer over the head with only one arm that you can use. Just doesn't work, believe me, I have tried every year. At least I am persistant.
Enjoyed my day at the flea market and did pick up a few treasures. Got 4 Kitchen utincles for a dollar, you know how you always have gravy left over and the next day you warm it up but the gravy ladle is in the dishwasher, well, I took care of that bought 2 more, and another ice cream scoop, never can have to many of those, and a egg turner ??. Got a new pair of SAS shoes, $125. tag still on them for $20. always bought them years ago, and they got so expensive I quite, so couldn't pass that deal up. Also, bought a glass cake pan that is small enough it will fit in my toaster over. And of course there was a Rock Man there so had to buy a couple of fossil rocks for S2's museum. That was my purchases all for less than $30. and had a few hour of entertainment.
Well, there was no escapees this morning and everything when smoothly at chore time. But will go out later and let the sheep out in the grove to graze for the day, and yes, will check all the gates. Oliver and Huck of course were really hungry and feeding time took no time at all. Haven't fed the Boys yet, they were so busy tussling that I will feed them when I get done here.
I have to stay around the house this afternoon, hubby and BIL may need some help moving all the equipment over to our Cherokee Farm, that is a 20 mile trip, or they may come here to our farm here.. I', not sure what they are going to do over there, cause our beans are not quite ready to harvest, but the corn is, so they may change over to corn for a few days.
Well, I had better go, I see the Boys looking at me thru the kitchen window, guess they are ready for breakfast, after all had my oatmeal with peaches and nutmeg over an hour ago. So you all have a GET day. Linda
