That is how I look at stuff, it really makes life a lot easier. I just think about it and if there is nothing I can do about it, I let it go, but if I can, I do it. That is how I look at stress. So I have very little.
It rain AGAIN last night, .45, so there will no harvest today. Hubby has the stuff from the working on the wagons to [put away this morning, and then not sure what he will be doing, but you can bet your bottom dollar there will be a nap in there today after dinner. I was going to start digging some of my bulbs up today, but guess that will have to wait until it dries off again. I don't like digging in the mud.
I now have another chore, yesterday while helping hubby with the wagons we kept hearing a noise coming from the little barn, so I went to investigate, and I found a kitten that looks like it has just opened it's eyes, about 10 - 14 days old, in one of the feeder. I watched all day and never seen a mother cat go in there, so when I was in town I bought some kitty milk, and fed it. Boy, was it hungry, I think I know who the mother is, it is Twister Sister, and she is known for moving her kittens and leave some behind. So, now every 4 hour will get it to eat at least a teaspoon of the replacer. It is such a cutie, just the softest grey, with a white blaze on it face and 4 white sock and belly. Calling him, Oliver Twist, I don't know why, just kind of fit him, so now I am all he's got for a mother.
I didn't get much done yesterday, after Merlin nap I had to go to town and get feed for everyone, and of course grocery store is next door so did get a few things, mainly milk. It was only $64. so you know I didn't need much, most of it was spent at the produce section. Melons, banana, potatoes, head lettuce, needed them all, and then the milk and that was about it. Sure don't get much anymore for $60. I still can remember going and buying a whole weeks worth of groceries for $25. Boy, that was a long time ago.
I want to thank everyone that sent B'Day wish my way yesterday, I did celebrate it last night by having a small glass, I mean real small, of the "peachy" drink. I have to admit that I forgot about it being my b'day until I got on here and there was a email from SIL wishing we a great day, hubby didn't remember until I read him a message from DIL, I was going to see if he would remember and I blew it by reading him that message. My day is around harvest and is never a big deal, most time we just forget it, it's kind of like being born around Christmas. No one ever celebrates it.
I had better get off here and GET something done around here, so you all have a GET day. Linda
