So right now I am in one week on my diet, and the results are a lot better than I thought they would be. I have never really been into high protein diets, but after scouring the internet to see what worked for people who had 100 pounds or more to lose, the Dukan diet looked like a good place to start. The main thing I like about it is instead of just eating a high protein and low carb diet for the rest of my life or risk the weight coming back, like the atkins diet, the Dukan diet incorporates all foods back into the diet after the weight loss happens. So a week in, with a little bit of cheating- for some reason I have been craving fruit, so I had some- I am down 14bs. I know some of it is water weight, but I am so excited to see the scale going down.
