Explanation

Johns Hopkins researchers found that while aerobic exercise burns more calories at the time you are exercising, your metabolism returns to normal about 30 minutes after you finish your workout. Individuals who perform strength training, however, elevate their metabolisms (burn more calories) for two hours after their workouts end.

    It doesn't work for me-my metabolism never stays reved up for any length of time. Too many stomach surgeries for things to work right.

    Hmmmmmm... So when I do 30 min of cardio and then 60 min of crossfit class (which typically includes lots of ST), my old metabolism should be cranked!!
