Finally gym bound

This past Thursday I decided I would go try a gym. Had a 5 day free pass, why not, right?
My brother went with me. My have weight machines changed over the last 20 years. (oops, did I just say how long it's been since I went to a gym?) I did upper body strength. Found my weight settings. Did 4 sets of 10 reps. I enjoyed my 1st day very much. Wasn't so hard that I'd swear off gyms for good. Yay! Tracked my workout.
Went for day 2 at the gym. Lower body. Did pretty good. Found my settings. They have a glute master machine that'll get my backside back into place in no time. Woo hop!
Day 3 was a total body workout. Did the full circuit of machines I used over the last 2 days. I really have very little soreness, but I know the weight was correct. By #8, I got slower & a little shaky, harder yet each of last 2. Good workout.
So already I have made my decision to join the gym. It scared me a lot. Why? Not really sure, but I have broken my fear of the gym. I can do proper strength training there and, sorry, my cardio will be done at home. Not a treadmill lover. Used them, just prefer walking outside. Sunshine and fresh air.
So I can now honestly say "I like the gym".
