Another long day. I think I made some headway with Isaac this afternoon, but I sure would have preferred no need to deal with behaviors yet again. At least today I only broke down one time and my supplements and oils were able to lift me through it all. Today he sent his behaviors towards his sister. I guess since he was trying to be nice to me all day it didn't translate that you are to be nice to everyone. (shaking my head in wonder)

Now to back up.... The day started out as a typical Friday. Isaac was off with his habilitative worker so Maegann and I headed out for our usual routine... breakfast, groceries and then we choose what to do next. Well, we made it through breakfast (Subway) and were almost done with groceries when Meg phoned and said she had to cut the time short due to a family emergency. I have to admit it sent my happiness to the depths knowing the 4-hour break for everyone was now gone and what would that mean for the day. Prayed all the way home.

I was surprised....Isaac did great once home and we pulled out the schoolbooks to do the work he hadn't completed yesterday. I only had time to do math and grammar as I needed to be across town to meet a mom to sign paperwork so I can be her son's Support Broker. As he was doing so well I left him to finish up his history with his sister. Not sure what switched in his brain, but I was barely finished with the paperwork when Maegann phoned to say, "What do I do with him? He is....." Ugh! Part of his behaviors are still due to nerves with the physical therapy worker and I think a bit of homeschool co-op starting on Monday, but goodness it has been a rugged week.

I did buy myself a "birthday" gift over the holiday weekend as Kay's Jewelers had their sapphires 40% off and I found a clearance on an earring set using black diamonds. I love black diamonds! I went and picked them up after the paperwork meeting.

I am going to enjoy these pieces for a long time!

After the smoke had cleared at the house (about 4 p.m.) I was able to do some work that came up regarding co-op (Can tell everyone else is finally kicking into "we're starting on Monday" mode!) and finished up the paperwork and got it submitted. Had hoped to have that done by mid afternoon so it wouldn't just sit there all weekend. Oh well.

Had yummy bbq chicken salads for supper and I then got some things organized for the weekend. First up is picking up my Bountiful Basket (so thankful we are back to every week delivery), gym time, breakfast and then a massage at 11:30.

You need that time to distress, so enjoy your massage and just as the old commercial goes, "Calgon take me away!" There you are, whomever is doing your massage, call their name and tell them to take you away! ENJOY your ME Time!

    The jewels are gorgeous!
