6 Personal Training Sessions In......

Well, we completed our 6th personal training session last night. It should have been our 7th, but there was a scheduling error so we didn't get a session last Tuesday. I was actually totally okay with that because I've been recovering from a pretty bad head cold. I don't know why it happens, but every time I start a new workout routine I get sick!!

We are still loving training. Now that I'm almost back to 100% better after my cold, we need to work on getting our cardio in 6 days a week. This means working out 7 days a week. Luckily the cardio she's got us doing isn't super time consuming. 3 days a week just 30 minutes of 130-150 heart rate (brisk walk) and 3 days a week of a 4 minute HIIT workout with 5 min warm up and 5 min cool down. I need to do HIIT today, and I'm not sure what I want to do. I'm thinking either sprints on the treadmill, or if it is too hot in the garage, I'll just do mountain climbers.

We had a few days that we really got off track, but we are committed to getting it done. We had 2 weeks to adjust to being so sore again and I had almost 2 weeks of being sick, now we have no excuses! Just need to hit it hard! So, here is my plan and goals:

Sunday - 30 min cardio
Monday - HIIT
Tuesday - 30 min cardio and PT
Wednesday - HIIT
Thursday - PT
Friday - HIIT and 30 min cardio (as time allows)
Saturday - 30 minute cardio

Now that I'm not sick and I will be working on my cardio there is no reason I can't get my 5k steps every day. So my goals are to get my steps every day and follow the food plan 6 days a week (won't follow it on Saturdays when we go to the college football games). But I will still work on making better choices. I also want to blog at least once a week, preferably twice to keep my accountability.

    Sounds like you're doing great, hope you are feeling ,much better now. I love the fact that you are committed to living healthy but still letting yourself have fun and enjoy football food and fun
