5 Brutal Hours of Cooking
Monday, September 07, 2015
It's brutal when you don't want to but you have to. Let's see what I got done in 5 hours.
4 lb of uncured bacon
1 lb of salmon
12 oz of shrimp (unfortunately I bought with the shell on, so I had to peel them)
6 small acorn squash
I started with the bacon, then I used the bacon grease to cook the salmon and shrimp. Using 3 heads of garlic and 1 medium size fresh ginger, it's guaranteed to taste good! You can't go wrong when you use that much garlic and bacon grease.
The squashes were baked and mashed with added ghee.
I got about 8-10 servings each for the bacon, salmon/shrimp and squash. I still have 5 dozen eggs in the fridge that will be cooked tomorrow or the day after. This will put me in good stead for almost two weeks.
Salmon/shrimp with garlic and ginger, uncured bacon, squash with ghee.
