EEP! A defintion, and rather pointless blog.

I don't think I ever blogged about EEPing, and now seemed like a good time for some unknown reason.
EEP! Or eep.
You know that somewhat excited or scared sound people make, I make that sound. I EEP! I never thought I was an eeper. I'm a pretty happy person. I do startle, but I am one that will just, but not really make a sound. So I never really thought things in life would make me eep. That is until I started indoor climbing. Many years ago, I would climb, DH would belay. I was okay at climbing, DH was an excellent belayer. All is well right? This is the perfect team!
Well, not quite. You see, I do not like being lowered. I really really do not like being lowered. EVERYTIME he would lower me, I would start to eep, grab my rope really tight and look sad. One time I even tried to grab the other rope as I was being lowered and got my hand slightly burned. Luckily DH noticed and halted, before I got badly burned or tangled.
Anyway, back to eeping. I have no control over it, and sometimes, if the lowering was sudden (life if the belay apparatus was tight) I would eeps REALLY loudly. DH thought it was pretty funny. Other climbers not so much as they would stare at me. Yah, I'm an embarrassment hehe.
Anyway, being the analytical folks we are, DH decided to inquire (after a rough EEP! filled lowering), what EPP! actually meant. I look him straight in the eyes and said "EEP! means the current situation is unfavorable for me and should be rectified immediately."
And now you know.
This memory brought to you by the letter "E."
